Y4

Hello Year Four,

Well done for settling down to your home learning straight away. I have had some lovely work sent across. Please find below Tuesday’s home learning and some Maths videos to watch. I know you will be fantastic at the problems! If there is a link to a video to watch, it may need copying and pasting into Google in order to find it. If you need a workbook to complete your work in, please contact the office who can help to arrange one for collection. I know not everybody has access to a printer, so I do not expect you to print of any the sheets unless you would like to. Completing your work on sheets of plain paper is absolutely wonderful - I would love to see photos of them!

You can find this week’s spellings below and on the daily Spoodle work. I have also updated your Times Table Rock Stars to 3,6 and 9 times tables (the key on our counting stick!). Please keeping working on these daily.

I am missing you all lots, but your work is making me proud of all you are achieving. Please keep sending it through so I can give you lots of feedback!

Take care,

Mrs Price smiley

Homework Times Tables

Linked to our learning in class, your TT Rock Stars will be linked to the 3 and 6 times tables. I'm looking forward to seeing your rapid times!

Homework Spellings

Remember, your books should be brought into school with the completed homework so I can see your progress on Fridays.

Have a go at putting these words into a sentence, remembering capital letters, full stops and excellent handwriting.

This week's spelling rule is the prefix IL and IN. Like the prefix UN, theses two prefixes have a negative meaning.

Illegal

Illogical

Illegible

Illiterate

Ineffective

Inaudible

Inactive

Incomplete

Incorrect

Invisible

CHALLENGE: Could you begin you sentences with a fronted adverbial?

Example: Sadly, the music was inaudible during the performance.

I'm excited to see what you come up with. Enjoy!
