Welcome back Year 1!
I hope you have all had a wonderful Easter break!
Thank you to everyone that helped their child to produce some great pieces of homework about Dinosaurs. This half terms homework is about The Great Fire of London. The children can present what they find as a poster, video, PowerPoint, picture or a piece of writing. For more details please see the parent information sheet towards the bottom of the class page.
I can't wait for another great half term!

I will be sending look, cover, check sheets home on Fridays to support your child in learning their spellings. Please try to practise spelling multiple times in the week.
You can also still use the red spelling books if you need extra practice space. Please send spelling practice in every Friday so they can be checked. For each day they practice their spellings they will get a team point.
Spelling rule = ea and er
Please try to read for 15 minutes each day and write into their Diary.
Books will be changed every Monday night so please make sure books and diaries are in school on Monday.
PE is Tuesday and Thursday
We have sent home log in details for a new online learning resource. We have done the base line for maths in school and will begin to use the other subjects in school too. You can now use any of the subjects on Doodle at home. Please use Doodle to practise for 15 minutes a day. Each week we will celebrate the person who collects the most stars.
